Kiosko Salemera wins its second “Solete” in the Repsol Guide!
The Cabildo of La Palma, through the Saborea La Palma project managed by the public company Sodepal, participates for the first time in the San Sebastián Gastronomika Euskadi Basque Country fair, which is held at the Kursaal Conference Center in Donostia.
The headquarters of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Santa Cruz de La Palma hosted this morning the institutional awards ceremony for the XI edition of the Ruta de Cruces y Tapas, held between April 21 and May 7, and which counted with the participation of 16 hotel and restaurant establishments from the participating municipalities of Santa Cruz de La Palma, Breña Baja, Breña Alta and Villa de Mazo.
We are very happy as we have been the winners for the Best Popular Tapa in the X edition of the Ruta de Cruces y Tapas, in whose closing, which It was held today Wednesday June 15 in Breña Baja, the winning establishments have been announced. In this case, the cover ‘Palma delight with an oriental touch’ was awarded.
The Kiosk Playa Salemera in Villa de Mazo won the Popular Prize awarded by the clients of the IX edition of the Route of Crosses and Tapas for its cover “Oriental Passion”. An oriental-style preparation based on rice, avocado, tuna, mayonnaise, soy and culminated with sprouts.
From Villa de Mazo, the La Salemera Beach Kiosk for its blue fish marinade, a tower formed from a palmero avocado tartare and a crust of seed bread in which two pieces of blue fish stood out, one enriched with dark chocolate and the other with an orange mayonnaise, was the one chosen by the jury as the winner of the Third Prize for the palm tree cover.
The public of the Route distinguished with their votes the Kiosco Playa La Salemera, in Villa de Mazo, as the establishment that won the Popular Prize for its “Intense to Mar”Plated in a colorful scallop shell, very showy and with suggestive touches typical of modern cuisine.
For the second consecutive year, the Kiosco Playa La Salemera Restaurant in Villa de Mazo obtains the popular award for the best tapa in the V edition of the Ruta de Cruces y Tapas, as reported in a press release.
