Popular award of the Route of Crosses and Tapas 2016
For the second consecutive year, the Kiosco Playa La Salemera Restaurant in Villa de Mazo obtains the popular award for the best tapa in the V edition of the Ruta de Cruces y Tapas, as reported in a press release.
This initiative was born in 2012 by the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce in La Palma, together with the municipalities of Villa de Mazo, Santa Cruz de La Palma, Breña Alta and Breña Baja, to promote the gastronomy of the eastern region of Island.
In all the editions of the Route of Crosses and Tapas, the Kiosco La Salemera, led by its owner María Nuria Castro Hernández, has stood out for the quality and originality of its proposals, having obtained in 2013 the popular award for the best cover ; the second prize for the palm cover in 2014 and the popular prize for the best cover and second prize for the free cover in 2015.
The Villa de Mazo City Council wants to congratulate the owner and workers of the La Salemera Kiosk for this successful trajectory, which has been consolidated in this 2016 edition with the popular award for the best cover and thanks their professionalism, dedication and involvement in the development of this Route.
